I think when you love someone, you love them as the person they are and not for the concept of them or loving them anymore. I think a lot of relationships and marriages don’t work out in the end because I think sometimes partners end up not knowing all of each others flaws and behaviors. Instead, they are still in love with the concept of their partner that they still have glazed over their eyes, which blinds them from seeing their partner as a person clearly.

To love someone, in my opinion, is to really know them. I believe that’s why despite how much family can frustrate some of us sometimes, it’s impossible, in most cases, to not love your family. You live with them. You know them. And they know you.

Love is knowing, understanding, and accepting.
